Dr. Gustav Graeber
Gustav is the principal investigator of the Graeber Lab for Energy Research (GER). He earned his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU Berlin; his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University; and his PhD from ETH Zurich. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) from 2019-2021 and a postdoctoral researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2021-2023. He joined Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in March 2023 as the principal investigator of GER. His research interests range from thermodynamics, to functional materials and electrochemistry with the goal to increase performance and reduce cost of energy conversion processes.
