Daniela Montes Alarcon

Daniela joined the GER group in June 2024 as part of the Humboldt Internship Program. Daniela is currently studying chemistry at Wellesley College. She is working on her senior thesis with Professor Rebecca Belisle on optimizing the fabrication of CsPbBr3 perovskites and has done research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Tisdale Lab, where she investigated novel metal-organic chalcogenolates materials for optoelectronics applications. She has also studied 0D metal halide perovskites as part of a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at George Washington University. After graduating, Daniela plans to pursue a PhD in chemistry or material sciences.
