M. Sc. Andrea Cornelio
He earned a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy), with two international exchanges in INSA Lyon (France) and Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden). He is passionate about electrochemistry and thermodynamics. He has gained lab experience with electrochemical systems (fuel cells, lithium-ion batteries, vanadium flow batteries) in Politecnico di Milano and Chalmers, from material to application level. Previously, he did an internship in the laboratories of an industrial chemical plant at Evonik, where he worked on polymeric air separation membranes. He will work on a shared project between Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) and GER on NASICON solid electrolytes and safety for Na-ion batteries.
